We are proud to announce that XZ1 Recordings has started distributing albums. Our former service for handling albums (Fusion Audio Distribution) is closed down which means that XZ1 Recordings will take over album operations. This is a big step in XZ1's evolution and we strive to power the new era of record labels (distribution-focused labels)
About XZ1 Recordings
Founded with a passion for supporting emerging artists, XZ1 Recordings is a humble company founded in mid-2024. XZ1 Recordings also operates multiple smaller sub-labels for different genres. Established as a platform exclusively for releasing singles, our label aims to empower musicians in launching their careers. XZ1 Recordings has moved on to start releasing EP's and albums. Since our inception, XZ1 Recordings has been committed to next level personalized and quick music distribution for artists to cultivate their unique sound. Through strategic partnerships and a dedicated team, we continue to champion creativity and innovation in the music industry, ensuring that every artist's journey is marked by growth and success.

Sub-labels that XZ1 Recordings operates
XZ1 Recordings operates numerous sub-labels that cater to multiple genres. You can join an XZ1 sub-label if you successfully get accepted into XZ1 Recordings OR if you're already an XZ1/Fusion client and meet one of these genre requirements. When releasing, your (C) line will show as XZ1/Sub-label name. This is due to our launch of BluWave Digital Entertainment, everything is now under one umbrella.
Solus Sound
Solus Sound is the sub-label catered to ambient music. Solus Sound was founded BEFORE XZ1 Recordings and was mainly used by Red Palm Tree, BudgieMint's second artist alias
Affogato Music
Affogato Music is the jazz/jazz fusion sub-label on XZ1 Recordings. Although we probably won't get much jazz music in our catalog, it's still good to have a sub-label. Life is like jazz, it's best when you improvise.
17th Street
17th Street is the main sub-label for rap music on XZ1 Recordings. We get a lot of rap music, trust us. 17th Street is designed to cater to upcoming rap artists.
Music publishing
XZ1 MUSIC PUBLISHING
We have finally opened our own publishing division. You can request publishing while submitting your demo for us. You need to be approved separately for publishing even if you are already an XZ1 client. To get into XZ1 MUSIC PUBLISHING, you need to apply for a mandatory AllTrack CREATOR account by clicking here. If approved for AllTrack, you may request publishing by XZ1 by heading to this website and making an account. You will then see a tab that says "Request publishing services", you can apply there. Please submit your first name and last name plus your designated AllTrack IPI number.

What's the royalty split
At the moment, the royalty split is 70/30. That is after the cut by the distributor is made
Does XZ1 release albums
XZ1 now releases albums! Whether it's a mini-LP or a full length album. We accept all albums for distribution now. We used to be a single and EP only distributor but we're open to albums now!
Do I need to sign a contract
We send contracts on a per release basis. Once we submit your release, you'll recieve a contract to sign in your email which can easily be signed through your XZ1 dashboard.
How many releases can I release through XZ1
As many as you wish, do note that all releases you release through XZ1 will be binded to us for 365 days, after that you are free to re-release your release or keep it on XZ1.
Do I need to pay anything
Not at all!
Do we allow AI generated music or music made partially with AI
Fully AI generated music is not allowed to be released on XZ1. Music partially made with AI tools such as BandLab's Songstarter tool are permitted as long as you make enough changes to them that it won't be striked for copyright.
What is "BluWave Digital Entertainment"
BluWave Digital Entertainment is the new parent company that houses all XZ1 services. We created this since our publishing division was founded. BluWave Digital Entertainment will now show up as the label on all future XZ1 and XZ1 sub-label releases. The (c) and (p) lines of your releases will still show as XZ1 or an XZ1 sub-label
